- Law Ruler software has many pre-loaded case types but can be used for any docket! If you want to add a new case type or docket to your Law Ruler lead portal then please click the “Add a New Case Type” button as shown in the “Case Types” page inside the Settings menu.
- Click "Edit" or "Delete" to modify or remove any case types that exist in your Lead Management portal.
Please note: You can not delete a case type if there are leads in your portal that use this case type.
- When you “Edit” a Type of Case, you will be able to setup specific email distribution lists to notify these users when a new lead is create for this docket. This allows your firm to setup groups by docket with different roles if you choose to set it up that way. If not, then leave the email notification field blank.
- Click “Update” to save your changes after Editing the Type of Case.
