How to Use the Lead Inbox – My Tasks Follow
Law Ruler’s Lead Inbox contains three powerful features to always keep your firm on top of everything and offers you a 30,000 foot aerial view of everything that is happening in your intake world at all times. These features will be explained in the following order, “My Tasks”, “Recent Activity”, and the “Lead Center.”
- My Tasks – “My Tasks” is your home base where you can see any tasks that are assigned to you that need to be completed. If you have administrative access, then you will be able to see the tasks of everyone at the firm, not just your own tasks.
The “My Tasks” window has several different views available to allow you to stay on top of all of your tasks whether they are due today, tomorrow, later this week, or are overdue. Click on the blue links to select the desired view.
A summarized view of each task is displayed in the “My Tasks” window to allow you to see more on the screen at one time. If you would like to Edit or View the complete details of a specific task, then left-click on the pencil icons as shown in the screenshot below to open up the full details of any task.
If you would like to mark a task as completed, then left-click on the checkmark icon on each task row to mark a task as completed, and it will come off your task list, and be recorded as completed.
Please Note: You can delete tasks in bulk by clicking on “Show all tasks”
