Compatibility List - All Law Ruler Features AND the Contact Center
-Google Chrome is the preferred browser for Law Ruler on all devices.
-Windows or Apple Desktop/Server/Notebooks - Full OS (not Mobile OS)
-Windows Surface/MacBook Pro
Details/Technical Information
Law Ruler's Contact Center(Make/Receive Calls) popup only works on Windows and Apple Mac *desktop* devices such as:
- desktop computers
- thin clients
- laptops (MacBooks, Windows laptops, and for mobile, we recommend Msft Surface.
*Contact Center* Not Compatible with Mobile Operating Systems (OS)
(Other features work good)
-Apple iPad and iPhone Mobile iOS - No Contact Center, Other features work good
-Android OS - No Contact Center, Other features work good
The Contact Center is only compatible with full operating system versions, and will ***not*** allow phone calls to be made/received on mobile iOS and Android views at this time. It is our recommendation that if someone wants to use Law Ruler's Contact Center, then they go with Windows-based Surface tablets or Windows/Apple notebooks, not mobile devices that have restricted operating systems/features.
-Mobile OS will work fine for the Inbox, Intake Forms, Send E-Sign, Send and Receive SMS Texts works fine inside Law Ruler in our mobile view. Just no Contact Center for mobile OS.
It is our recommendation that if someone needs to use Law Ruler as a contact center on mobile devices, that they forward their calls to their mobile, and they can take notes/update intake information/send e-signs, but they will not be able to use Law Ruler to initiate new calls from iOS and Android mobile OS devices.
Future Plans
Law Ruler's product roadmap includes plans to build a native iOS and Android app.
