SOL Date Reminders - We Got You Covered Follow
Law Ruler features a Statute of Limitation (SOL) Date Reminder System.
The SOL Reminders works by adding a SOL DATE to an existing lead/intake/case in Law Ruler in the "SOL Date" field.
How It Works: “SOL Warning” Task Reminders will be automatically created if the SOL Date is greater than the number of days until that date. If the number of days from the current date to the SOL Date is greater than 119 days, then all 3 SOL Date Reminders will be created for 90, 60, 30-day warnings.
Example: The SOL date is 05/04/2018 so IF the SOL Date is within 120, 90, 60, 30, and 10 days of that date, then Law Ruler will automatically create the following SOL Date Task Reminders:
a) 120 Days – “120 Day SOL Warning”
b) 90 Days – “90 Day SOL Warning”
c) 60 Days – “60 Day SOL Warning”
d) 30 Days – “30 Day SOL Warning”
e) 10 Days – “10 Day SOL Warning”
*** Please note: SOL Date Task Reminders are based on the current date, so if a SOL Date is more recent than the current date, than it will affect IF SOL Date Task Reminders are created, and which ones, dependent on the current date compared to the SOL Date. This is in place to avoid SOL Dates Task Reminders from being created after they have lapsed.
